We’ve all been there. You really want to buy new (insert item here). It could be makeup, shoes, electronics, or, most likely, clothes! The problem? You don’t really need them, and can’t quite justify the purchase. That’s exactly why we put together a list of reasons you absolutely have to buy new scrubs. Pick your excuse and shop away!
Excuse #1 – “There’s an intern at work who wears the same size as me, and I remember how cash-strapped I was when I started out.” This excuse is one of the best. Nursing interns often don’t have the time or money to eat well, let alone stock enough scrubs to keep from doing laundry every other day. If you have some extras that you don’t mind parting with to make room for new prints and styles, gift away. You’ll have done a good deed, and made room in your closet!
Excuse #2 – “I am working toward a promotion at work, and don’t want to look sloppy the day an opening presents itself.” While your credentials and your work ethic will always trump your appearance, there is some merit to this excuse. Looking fresh shows a commitment to your job and cleanliness, and that can never hurt your chances of moving ahead.
Excuse #3 – “My car is really dirty, and I can’t find any rags.” If you’re desperate for an excuse, this one works nicely. Take the scissors to those scrubs and get washing! After all, if you are taking that car to the office or hospital, shouldn’t it look shiny?
Once the gifts are given, the clothes donated to charity, or the car has been washed, head over to Scrubs-Max.com for fashionable new

Julia Roberts once said, “On my best day, I am a seven-point-seven. I could be a hard eight if I felt great. If I went on a good run and had on my best pair of jeans, I could feel right on the money.” We couldn’t agree more about the jeans! Nothing is more comfortable and wearable than a great pair of jeans. They are truly the go-with-everything solution for looking good and feeling better. And as for the cash involved in building a relaxed work wardrobe? Cherokee Denim Scrubs are, as Ms. Roberts put it best, right on the money! Get your jeans on!
These Drawstring Denim Pants and Denim Scrubs Top are a stylish solution for men and women. The blue cotton denim is used throughout the collection, allowing for coordinated tops and pants. However, we all know one of the best things about denim is how well it goes with just about everything! Denim scrubs give you the opportunity to wear all those mismatched scrubs gathering dust in the back of your closet. Whether it was a top you had to have that you never found a pant for, or a set that was half-ruined in the wash or at work, denim provides an answer. Consider denim scrubs an investment in comfort, style and avoiding the morning scramble for the matching top!

We know you aren’t working those doubles just to spend your money on new scrubs! However, comfortable, clean scrubs are an essential part of your job. And none of us want to spend our day in threadbare, sloppy threads. The answer to looking fresh, and having some cash in your wallet to enjoy yourself on those rare days off, is making a modest investment in high-quality scrubs you can mix-and-match. We have put together a list of budget-friendly options that work well together, and look as smart as you’ll feel when you see what a great deal they are!
The Cherokee Mini Mock Wrap Scrub Top is an absolute steal! Clean lines combine with this trendy style to make a wrap top you’ll love to wear again and again. Try the orchid with navy – so simple and pretty!
Add a dash of luxury to your scrub line-up with Micra Silk Scrub Pants. These are so incredibly soft, and work well with the wrap top above in the slightly deeper ‘dahlia purple’!
The perfect compliment to the wrap top in orchid is the navy Low Rise Flare Scrub Pants. Available in an expansive selection of sizes and lengths, these drawstring pants are fashion-packed with little extras, from slash pockets to side vents.
Add a punchy pop of pattern to the mix with this Curious George Tunic Scrub Top. Either pant works well with this colorful top full of boxes, bananas and good-natured George!

In the not-so-distant past, we purchased our scrubs simply based on cut and color – with cut often being a bit off, and colors being both limited and chosen by someone who never had to wear them. In some medical and dental facilities there are still rules about which styles and colors to wear, but for the rest of us, scrubs are coming up fabulous! Kimora Lee Simmons, Baby Phat’s leading lady, has brought some of her razzle-dazzle to the often boring world of scrubs!
Baby Phat offers Tops, Pants, Coats and Caps, so you can be head-to-toe stylin’. Look below for my top pick from each category –
The Stud-ette Scrubs Top is available in five popular colors in a comfortable cotton/poly blend. The split neck is accented with colorful rhinestones, while the dazzling Baby Phat kitty sparkles on your hip. This is available in sizes XS – 5XL – making sure everyone’s inner diva gets a chance to shine!
Baby Phat’s Feminine Scrub Pants combine delicate lace with the funky feline logo and a fly waist, making for a comfortable and fashionable fit!
The Mini Lab Coat from Baby Phat is absolutely adorable! With all the attention to fit and detail as your regular wardrobe, this combines princess seaming, a back belt and a button front to make for what may be the only lab coat you’ll want to wear out!
Looking for a way to keep your hair out of the way, and still look good? Try the Surgical Skull Cap! These pretty and practical caps prove that keeping things safe and sanitary doesn’t have to be boring.

Famous furry cartoon friends bring smiles to everyone – from co-workers to cats and Cairns! In a veterinary office, cartoon animals add an appropriate touch of fun that ties in well with the patients. In a dental or doctor’s office, animal-themed scrubs can help calm anxious children, putting their mind on something fun, and establishing a connection with you. It may seem too simple, but kids especially can easily be soothed by familiar things. Why not have a little Saturday-morning-style fun? Whether you are assisting a root canal, or x-raying a retriever, animal patterned scrubs are sure to put a paws-itive spin on your day!
Felix Scrubs find that funky feline’s adorable face in various expressions against a soft yellow background with bubbly circles. This print is available in a mock wrap top, or a jacket.
Are you a fan of that triple-decker sandwich inhaling Great Dane, Scooby Doo? Who isn’t?! Everyone loves the little mystery solver who would do anything for a Scooby Snack! We were lucky enough to get him to pose for our popular Scooby Scrubs, which are sure to please every patient – people or pups!
